Middle Caicos nightlife - dance, drink, have fun!
In Middle Caicos, you have the peace and quiet of your own island, with many attractions and activities in the day hours. Peace and quiet at night with a sky that seems to have 10 times as many stars, and moonlight that lets you walk the beaches as if lighted. But if you want other entertainment, you can plan a trip to Provo (12 minute flight) for nightlife and fine entertainment. The nightlife on Provo can't compete with the late-night revelry of, say, Aruba or even Barbados. This is a laid-back kind of place with laid-back pleasures, but it does offer a number of quality nighttime diversions. The BET (Black Entertainment Television) Soundstage was the first BET Soundstage outside the U.S. (you can also find one in Disney World) and is a popular spot to dance the night away and drink cocktails beneath palm trees. It also has slot machines. Club Sodax is a nice local sports bar with a good mix of locals and tourists. Bambooz Bar & Grill (at the Saltmills shopping plaza, Grace Bay Rd.; Providenciales tel. 649/941-8146) is another popular spot where you can watch sports on big-screen plasma TVs, listen to music, or dine on island fare (peas and rice, blackened grouper, cracked conch) or international cuisine (New York strip, fish and chips, penne alla vodka). Or a 20 minute flight to Grand Turk, the capital for tours of history, dives on the famous wall in Columbus Passage, or a 5 minute flight to Salt Cay for another day of stepping back in time 100 years. Grand Turk also has a quieter nightlife with dining at the historic Turks Head Inn or in the gardens of the Salt Raker. So in fact Middle Caicos gives you the best of both worlds, while letting you return to your peaceful home in Paradise.
